When someone sees my-guild.battlehorns.net, they know you are getting started — and that is perfectly fine. When they see my-guild.com, the impression shifts: it looks like a stable organization with its own identity.
For guilds, clans, and esports teams, the domain is part of the brand as much as the logo or in-game name.
Subdomain vs custom domain
| Option | When to use |
|---|---|
| Battlehorns subdomain | First months, testing, small teams |
| .com / .pt / .net domain | Active recruitment, partnerships, esports |
Start free on the Battlehorns plan; when the community grows, point your domain to the same hosting — no file migration needed.
What to put on your domain
- Home page — tagline, trailer, or hero screenshot
- Recruitment — PHP form with questions about experience and schedule
- Roster — member or officer list (with consent)
- Results — tournament wins, season rankings
- Contact — professional email on the same domain (optional)
SSL included
A domain without HTTPS looks outdated and scares people filling out forms. At Battlehorns SSL certificates are active by default — the green padlock tells applicants your guild takes security seriously.
Domain registration at Battlehorns
Register your domain with us and connect it to your shared hosting plan. One panel, one invoice, support in Portuguese. If you already own a domain elsewhere, just point the DNS.

@ray606W different angle — Statr free on the Battlehorns plan; when the community grows, point ur domain to the same…. i'd argue with Battlehorns subdomain before the take u're making?

the “Domain registration at Battlehorns” section is the part that actually matters. When someone sees my-guild.battlehorns.net , they know u are getting started — and that is perfectly fine. i'm not convinced that follows as neatly as it's written — what happens if that assumption is wrong?
